Mad Cronicles of a wannabe Internet Millionaire (revisited)

Wed 15 November 2007, almost 1am.

So here we go!. The Content Management System (CMS) is installed and operational.

The chap from my Hosting Company (Hetzner) was very helpful this
afternoon to explain to me how to get the files onto the server, and to
point me to the online installation guide for the package I chose.

This evening earlier I had to phone Tech Support again, as the @$##
thing wouldn't launch the startup page - spoke to the same chap (still
on duty!).

He checked some security settings and helped me get the unzipped
folders & files moved to the correct "public root" folder thingy.
He then helped me patiently until the point that the admin launch page
came up (as indicated it would in the install guide).

Worked through the basic intro admin:

1. Configured Site

2. Enabled most standard modules

3. Added a new role & a user

4. Created and added an icon for my site (icon for my bookmark) [see favicon.cc]

5. Did some image editing and then uploaded it as my Site Logo

6. Publised my 1st note

7. Published my 1st "story"

8. Learned how to add my photo + an external site hyperlink to my

Tired now, but VERY happy.
AND - I did it myself!!!
