What is the difference anyway between Processes and Systems?

Systems are used to automate processes and ease administration of your business.
Not all systems require Computers. A system is a holistic way of doing, covering all aspects.
Example: A good Franchise company provides you a system - only a small part of it involves computers.
Processes define the steps performed in order to achieve something.
In other words - what needs to be done, in the correct order it should be done in.
Example: Process payment for a purchase, or on a higher level - sell a product, or a cake recipe.
Not all processes are performed by systems - some in fact cannot be performed easily by computers.
It can't asses a customers's needs, for instance.
How do I identify my Business Processes?
A good place to start is to look at the distribution chain of your business.
See Dictionary.com for several definitions.
Also see wikipedia.org for good information on this topic.
