It's been a while - far too long.

I recently realised that I'm spending far too much time learning Tech.

I should be learning about establishing a Business that generates income...

Not QUITE true! I needed to learn something about the Tech of a Web Site, as it tought me some interesting things about the mechanics and processes of setting up and running an Internet-based business:

1. What a CMS can do for one to enable / automate business processes.

2. What a CMS can do for one to provide customer-focused services.

3. What a CMS can do for one to provide customer-friendly services.

4. Become better at asking innovative and more specific business questions.

5. Become innovative at finding and asking for help.

6. Finding ways to co-operate with others in such a way that both win in the medium-term!

Well. A friend recommended I chat to somebody setting up a web site which "seemed" to be in direct competition...

It turns outto be complimentary! The lady spend a couple of hours to see how she can help me with copywriting, graphic design and styling my web site. I'm looking forward to the feedback - sometime next week.

In the mean time - she introduced me to TopStyle Light, which allows a web-user like me can edit style sheets! Cool, and Quick!

I'm proud to say that I've managed to make my site's menu look nice without breaking anything!

I'm also fooling arounf with FireBug, the awesome debugger/analysis plugin for FireFox. Truly a work of art even I can appreciate and use (even more amazing)!

I've installed the Groups module and am now learning to set up some Social Networking sertvices for my site.

I am alternating between learning how to make my site look nice, and learnign about Online Marketing... ; ))

Needless to say - it's quiter a learning curve. But DEFINITELY worth it!

I'll soon be setting up a Tech area where I will share somethings I've learned ... about CSS, Themes, Drupal, Web Site Design, etc.
