Cronicles of a Willibe Millionaire
I did it - Myself!
The site's Status Report informed me that a Drupal upgrade is available.
Now what do I do?
Well...
It even pointed me to the link to get the update.
A quick search of the Hoe site gave me the info.
I also had a look at the upgrade recommendations in the Install.txt for the new 5.4 version of the core system.
After figuring out that public_html is the Root of a Drupal site, it was easy to backup the folders and files there.
It kept th eimage, files, and Modules folders, as well as the .htaccess file in the root (for th settings).
I followed the instruction in the install.txt after reading it all 1st (important to uderstand the flow of it).
It id have to go back and update the memory setting from the old to new .htaccess file.
The rest was pretty ok!
Awesome to think I upgraded a Web Site - wow!
PS I did have to go find the Database settings for my site, as the update asks for that again.
'Til next time.
