Business Processes

Business Processes define the specific steps (recipes) in which things ought to be done.
This is how you implement capacity, consistency and quality.

On a higher level, we are talking about:
Product Development, Fulfillment, Order Processing, Office Operations, Customer Service, Accounts, Human Resources, Strategy Development, Managing your Logistics, Managing Partners and Suppliers, etc.

 

On a lower (detail) level, the following examples: Placing an Order for stock, Completing
a Sale, Marketing your skills, Recording your income/expenses.

What is the difference anyway between Processes and Systems?

Systems are used to automate processes and ease administration of your business.

Not all systems require Computers. A system is a holistic way of doing, covering all aspects.

Example: A good Franchise company provides you a system - only a small part of it involves computers.

1st, Happy New Year to us all!

I've been battling since December with a memory problem - not enough of it!

It seems to have resulted from the number of Modules I've been adding... Apparently the system keeps data and stuff for each active module in memory.
